 [Arkady can't sleep, so she's in the Pub late, mixing drinks and then teleporting them over to the tables. She's still having trouble walking more than a few steps, and leans on whatever is nearby when she stands. For once her exhaustion and stress is as plain on her face as the bruises against her pale skin.]

[Monochrome suit, not bothering with the tie for once though he still drapes the jacket over his shoulders. It just fit the ensemble. He arrives soon after Lore and waits outside the door.] ... This one of those warden-only things like the lab?

Yes, but I'll ask this time. [He taps his knuckles on the door, grinning widely.] Miss, would you mind if we came in? It's Lore and Dr. Kozak.

[What? Politeness went a long way when you needed it.]

[Both Inmates can hear the soft puff of displaced air on the other side of the door before Arkady opens it.] Of course, loves. Come on in.

Are we drinking for flavor or potency right now? [She doesn't know what Lore's capabilities were as far as drinking and she doesn't want to assume.] I'll sign off the Net and set you up.

[And her eyes immediately go to Kozzy's arm. Instant worry on her face.]

You need a pain blocker, Dr. Kozak?

[She lets them choose seats while she teleports back behind the bar. There she switches to text and sends a quick message to Perry.]

Hullo dear. Need to know what painkillers Koz is on so I know when to cut him off. Just Aunt Arkady being careful.

[First time here, he looks like a tourist. Cool place. He shakes his head at her question with a pleasant smile.]

No thanks, Miss Arkady. Pain is suppressed for now. Drinking for flavor mostly.

[Takes him a few moments to choose his seat because the teleportation is distracting. It's like shining a laser by a kitten. ... Oh, right, seats. He'll just follow Lore's lead on that.]

Drinking for flavor myself. Very astute of you to ask. [Lore, however, walks around with no trepidation and all the confidence in the world. He goes over to one of the stools and suavely pushes it out just the right distance with his foot, before hopping up onto one of his own and leaning lazily with his elbow on the counter.]

One of those days, you know. We just need a good place to unwind. Is there anything decent on the jukebox over there? [He thumbs over his shoulder.]

[He senses Arkady suddenly - like a flicker - and is concerned. So, he does what any sensible person would do: repot some cala lillies and bring them up to her. When he sees her staggering, though, he puts the pot down and hurries over to help her up. He's got a grip like a vice.]

You're ill. From the port?

Bad leg. I can walk on it again mostly though. Think I need to get a bloody cane.

[He helps her to where-ever it is she's going - though a chair is probably the smartest idea at this point - and looks down at the leg in question.]

Though I don't know how my might would interact with you, I'm a very capable healer.

A cane would be an interesting accessory.

Oh, I'd love if you'd have a look at the knee. The rest I can heal up from just fine, but having to keep off my feet is difficult.

I should get a purple one. Match my eyes and all.

Perhaps you could get a large amethyst on the top, and some strong kind of wood - oak, perhaps. I understand many canes are built like this.

[He kneels down, running his hands gently over Arkady's knee. His skin is oddly warm to the touch. He presses one hand to her kneecap and closes his eyes. There's a soft glow from his hand, and a really lovely warmth in her knee, and bam! healed! as much as you want of course.]

Faith is eyeing her partner in bar tending pretty fierce, watching from the corner of her eye as Arkady works one drink and then another.]

Port aftermath, and that argument with Barnes on the Net set me off. I'll be all right, but sleep's out of the question right now.

No, absolutely not. We made it out, everyone's back, and right now most of the issue is recovering and helping others recover. And inventing more new drinks!

[She's wandered up, since she didn't want to call and she didn't want to think hard in case something unwanted got sent along, but she hasn't seen her. And now that she has, she can tell someone's trying to do too much. But that isn't how she leads off.]

Yes, sleep is not a thing tonight. [She glances at her friend, pressing her lips together slightly in concern. But first things first.]

Can I get you anything?

Wanted to see how you were. [She's seeing it, and what might have gotten her that way, and grabs her hands together under the bar to keep under control.] Something easy.

I'll get you a grasshopper. They're quite tasty.

[She pops behind the bar and starts mixing, glancing up at Lua now and again. Something is off besides the usual stress and she can't quite put her finger on it.]

I'll be alright. Castiel fixed my knee. But what about you?

[The bar wouldn't usually be Jean's first choice, but Arkady had invited her, so she peeks in. Her movements remain a bit stiff and slow, several bandages still bulging beneath her clothes.]

You didn't want to sleep either?

[Arkady pops over with a little smile. Castiel has healed her knee so she's much more energetic now.]

Not right now. Too many troubling things, and I missed working here. Looking after people helps me get my head together.

Let's get you a seat. How's your shoulder?

Something new? I very much liked the julep from last time.

Perhaps a grasshopper? I was looking up old-fashioned drinks for Lua and some of the others. It's minty as well, but frothy and a bit rich.

Yum, mostly. It's equal parts creme de cacao, creme de menthe and fresh cream, shaken with crushed ice and served in a chilled glass.
