A very clever fellow I met recently posed the question: why is there no live music in the pub? Perhaps we can fix this. Do we have any musicians on board whom I can lure out of the closet?

Date: 2012-03-30 09:17 am (UTC)This body, he's always resented this body. It's clumsy and short and the temper that comes with it is unpleasant. Even the most well-tailored clothing can't make it appealing and it feels entirely two old for the hearts that beat within it.
In a way, he didn't mind that this of all his bodies, was the one that Death herself won for her efforts.
However, there's something different here. She sees more than what appears to be a human, and is more than just her body too. They might not be transcendent yet, but they're both aware that they have these forms that are meant for communication and all the urges that come along with them, at least he supposes they both do.]

[Even if they hadn't been themselves, he was able to consider it truly because someone had the freedom to feel comfortable in themselves.]

Date: 2012-03-31 05:20 pm (UTC)We got to witness a happy time in those people's lives, and it was lovely. But they're human, and deal with all that sort of thing in human ways. Really, neither of us is, even if my mum technically was.
What I know of you is positively adorable, and the whole thing was just as comfortable as being around you in general. But I put no expectations on that. No strings, no expectations. I just care for you.

Thinking- showing her, rather in words, that the feeling is very much reciprocated. And there is attraction there- as dissatisfied as he is with this body, he can't deny that those urges do exist.

She's a bit of a noob compared to him, even if her prescience has given her a head start over most on psychic and spiritual maturity.]
